  1. `PROJECT' menu `EXPORT...' item:

  3.      "The PatchMeister" stores sysex files in a unique format BASED ON
  4.      THE PARAMETERS STORED WITHIN ITS DRIVERS.
  5.  
  6.      Since anyone and everyone can create and/or customize drivers,
  7.      there is a chance that the sysex files you create for synth "A"
  8.      -may- be unusable to a friend who is using his own customized
  9.      driver for synth "A".
  10.  
  11.      Also, other librarian programs will more than likely not be able to
  12.      read sysex files created in "The PatchMeister" format.
  13.  
  14.      This means that in order to share files with your friends, you will
  15.      have to get the files into a format that they can use.  The `EXPORT'
  16.      menu item does just that.

  18.      Selecting the `EXPORT' option will allow you to save the contents
  19.      of the "active" window in a simplified format for use outside of
  20.      "The PatchMeister" program.  The exported file will simply contain
  21.      raw sysex data in a format that can be sent directly to your synth.

  23.      Your friends can use the `PROJECT' menu `IMPORT' item to get the
  24.      exported file into their "PatchMeister" Library.
  25.
